Corscombe Trail Race Courses
Both races start and finish in Corscombe and take runners through the surrounding West Dorset countryside on a mixture of fields, tracks, public footpaths and short sections of quiet rural road.
These are trail races rather than road races, so runners should expect uneven surfaces, gates, changing conditions underfoot and rolling countryside.
11K Trail Race
Start: 10:00
Distance: approximately 10.7–11 km
Elevation gain: approximately 362 ft
Minimum age: 17
The longer route heads out from Corscombe through the surrounding countryside towards Halstock before returning to the village.
5K Trail Race
Start: 10:30
Distance: approximately 5 km
Minimum age: 14, subject to final route measurement and TRA requirements
The shorter route uses the same kind of mixed rural terrain over a more accessible distance.
