The Corscombe Trail Races are being held alongside the traditional Corscombe Village Fête, making race morning part of a much bigger village day.
After finishing your race, there is no need to rush home. Runners, families, supporters and visitors are encouraged to stay in Corscombe and enjoy the fête.
Expect the relaxed atmosphere of a traditional West Dorset village fête, with food, refreshments, stalls, games and activities taking place after the morning’s trail races.
It is intended to be as enjoyable for supporters and families as it is for the runners themselves.
The race start and finish are centred around Corscombe, so supporters can see runners off, enjoy the village and then meet them again after the finish.
More details about the fête programme, food, activities and timings will be added as arrangements are confirmed.
The Corscombe Trail Races have been designed as a community event rather than simply a race that happens to pass through the village.
We hope runners will stay afterwards, enjoy Corscombe and help make the whole day a success.
